If you weren’t able to attend T4G, here were the 21 books given away for free. (Without taking the time to add it all up precisely, my guess is that each attendee received about $400 worth of books!)
Most of the links below take you to WTS Books—though a few to Amazon—if you want more info on any of the titles (sample chapters, endorsements, etc.).
I heard that T4G gave away 200,000 books. Praise be to God. May they be read and applied and given to others!

$400 worth of books for 7000 attenders. That’s $2,800,000. That’s what the publishers or the conference or some generous donors can afford to give? There’s just something wrong with that. And even if it’s right – to whom much is given… So many books, so many conferences, so many all star preachers and resources. And yet we keep bemoaning the state of the church. The glow from North America should be seen from Europe. The whole picture is incongruous.
@ Ken:
My guess is that the price of admission ($250) paid for the free books. Some of those books, like the ESV Study Bible, were donated by Crossway free. Also remember that the publishers probably sold the rest of the books to T4G at cost so all of the sudden $400 worth of books cost T4G less than half of that. Praise God for generosity!
Also, there were 20 books given away…not 21. We each got 1 of 5 of the essential Edwards collection. It was listed twice. (The work on beauty is part of the 5 volume collection).
